Update 1.4.08 - Our Development Plans Final Version!
Thank you for returning to our website.
All through the winter, our development team has worked hard to finalise plans for our proposed changes. Thanks to all of you who filled in usage questionnaires, postcode questionnaires, transport questionnaires, to all of you who attended the forums and public meetings to discuss the best way forward for our centre, and to all user group representatives who came in for extensive consultation with our development officer and architect. We are as sure as we can be that we have looked at this development from every possible angle and have included everything (within budget!) to enhance everyone's life at the New Park Centre.
Finally, yesterday (31.3.08) our detailed plans were submitted for planning approval. Our team has consulted the planners every step of the way and we look forward to co-operating further to ensure our plans come to be actually built.
Of course our plans will need funding in order to be turned into bricks and mortar! A significant proportion of our total cost has already been raised from various sources, and our thanks go out to those who have put their faith in our project already. Our experienced fundraisers have many more large grant applications in preparation, and soon we will be looking for ideas for raising the rest of the required amount - watch this space!
