Here you’ll find a growing programme of community-led events raising vital funds to help replace the roof of our Victorian building and secure the Centre’s future. From exhibitions to performances and creative gatherings, each event plays a part in supporting this shared goal. Silent Art Auction
1st - 30th June
This June, New Park Centre invites you to be part of something truly special - a Silent Art Auction and exhibition raising vital funds for our Raise the Roof campaign.
Inspired by the generosity of acclaimed artist Ghislaine Davis, this unique event will showcase an inspiring collection of donated artworks from both established and emerging artists. Every bid placed helps protect and preserve a space that supports creativity, connection, and community wellbeing.
How it works:

Browse the exhibition in the Café Bar from 1st - 30th June.

Take a card and write down your bid for your chosen artwork, then put in the sealed box.

Check yours is still the highest bid by revisiting the exhibition or looking on line

Highest bid at 6pm on 30th June secures the donated artwork.
Every bid directly supports the essential roof repairs, helping to safeguard a space where art and community thrive. So whether you're an art lover, collector, or simply passionate about community spaces, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

A dazzling one-off flamenco performance at New Park Centre on Saturday has been hailed a resounding success, raising an impressive £1,400 for the charity’s vital Raise the Roof appeal. Presented by Canción Gitana, Picasso – His Life and Loves captivated audiences with a powerful and intimate exploration of the life and art of Pablo Picasso.
