Here you’ll find a growing programme of community-led events raising vital funds to help replace the roof of our Victorian building and secure the Centre’s future. From exhibitions to performances and creative gatherings, each event plays a part in supporting this shared goal. Swing into Summer:
A Tea Dance Fundraiser for New Park Centre
Saturday 22 August
Join the Chichester Lindy Hoppers for a joyful afternoon of music, dancing, tea and cake. All while helping to support New Park Centre’s RAISE THE ROOF campaign.
Whether you love to dance, enjoy watching others take to the floor, or simply fancy an afternoon of good company and delicious homemade cake, everyone is welcome.
The Chichester Lindy Hoppers will be bringing the energy and excitement of swing dancing to New Park Centre, with three hours of dancing, fantastic music and plenty of opportunities to sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
No previous dance experience is needed – you are welcome to come along and dance, watch, chat and enjoy the afternoon.
Refreshments are included, with unlimited tea and homemade cakes lovingly baked by members of the dance community.
Tickets are just £10 per person

A dazzling one-off flamenco performance at New Park Centre on Saturday has been hailed a resounding success, raising an impressive £1,400 for the charity’s vital Raise the Roof appeal. Presented by Canción Gitana, Picasso – His Life and Loves captivated audiences with a powerful and intimate exploration of the life and art of Pablo Picasso.
